Hi Friend! I am Alex Karber, or better known as a John Hughes enthusiast, avid coffee consumer, and the girl who is always carrying her camera with that super cool vintage leather strap her mom got her. I attend the University of Kansas where I am humbled every day by the super talented students and professors around me, while I am studying Illustration/Animation and minoring Art History. Although I like to consider Lawrence my 'home', Amarillo, TX is my hometown where I learned to drive (thank goodness for patient dads am I right?) learned that God is really awesome, and that I am way too undeserving of his grace, and where I found out that all art and any type of art is my first true love. Ever since I was little I knew that I wanted to grow up and be an artist (and be just like my brother too). I am so excited each day to wake up and know that this day could be the next best day where I am able to create something great. Art is more than what could be a profession, but a comfort, a world I am able to travel into daily, and a way of life. I love to be able to share my joy for art with each person, and hope that one day I will be able to touch people with my art daily. If I am not yelling at some NFL football, you can find me with a bag of Copic markers, finding new ways to make different fonts. Making my friends model for me, in my room watercoloring some flowers, or finding the next best way to make the sun shine into my room even more than it already it is.

Super stoked we just met by the way!
